I'm currently on a Flixbus to L.A. and the wi-fi connection here sucks eggs but at least I was able to pull up Lockdown Times. Thanks to Eric for helping me not be bored out of my mind. And what do you think of Alex Kraimer's theory that Syria was a Russian-Iran trap for the Zionists and that Turkey was in on the con?
I talked about Krainer's theory several issues ago, search the page for his name. It's total BULLSHIT. It was obvious that he wasn't aware of lots of info. And who is gonna do any "trapping"? The Syrian army has disbanded or gone over to the new boss (right up to top officers), no Russian or Iranian military to do so, the pro-Iranian militias have fled into Iraq (aside from Hezbollah which has retreated into Lebanon, out of necessity) and per an article in this edition and many accounts, the Russian military units are moving from Syria to Libya, where they were be present as long as the emerging CIA asset Hafttar lets them be.
Krainer simply couldn't convince himself that the Syrian military could actually melt down so fast, so he had to come up with some other explanation he could sell to himself. He had so much trust in Assad, that's all. I can see others who really bought the entire Assad saint story buying this one. Anything except admit that they supported a regime which was rotten from within.
